Spam

Why is it that spam writers hide behind non-existant addresses?
Most of the time I ignore spam, occasionaly I read it and have questions to ask, such as “Although I am not interested in enlarging my penis perhaps you could help me understand that awesome bit of HTML coding you have written” or maybe “although I’m not prepared to pay for it, maybe you could send me a free sample of viagra and we can go from there” right down to “I feel for you in the fact that your job doesn’t involve getting out much, maybe if you’re ever in the Perth area we can catch up and you can tell me all about the porn sites you work with”… *sigh*
I’m sure spammers need more people writing back with love, not hate, maybe it would melt their dark hearts and they would start sending chicken schnitzel recipies.
Am I stupid for trying to reach out to spammers? 😐

Oh glorious fried protein! And here’s me on a diet, thank you very much^_^.

I get the most random spam. Offers for kingsize water beds, physical..er enhancements to body parts I don’t have, holidays to the Canary Islands. If only some of it were true offers.

For a while I’d considered collecting the spammers’ addresses and forwarding them each other’s details hoping to slow them down. But the simple act of even opening a spam mail is confirmation to them of an active address which encourages even more spam.

I guess I could still create an email account specifically for that, eh? That way its contents would not bother me.

I got bombarded by a bit of spamming yesterday for the first time since I started blogging. Damn annoying stuff!
