5 days and counting

Or is it 4 days? The counting down of days here is a bit bias depending on which personal calendar system somebody adheres to.
Most people would guess that the time from Thursday to Thursday is 7 days, however if you don’t count the Thursday, because well.. whatever you are waiting for HAPPENS on that day then it’s only really 6 days, and as it is now past noon and as we like nice round numbers, it’s only really 5 days. 🙂
Everything here is measured in “if nothing goes wrong” time, I am due back home on Thursday – if nothing goes wrong. We are due to move the rig on Tuesday – if nothing goes wrong, all to often these nothing goes wrong situations escalate into “there was only a small delay” or “we’ve been here for weeks!”. So yeah, Today is Saturday, so all things being well I’ll be home in 4 days.. 😛

An abridged list of things to do this time home:
* Find house to build on vacant lot
* Get back car – enjoy driving on 4 wheels for a change
* Get cabinets in kitchen made up
* Find a flatmate
* Singstar night with Julia
* REALLY finish the front garden (so close!)
* Have another dinner party
* Go to Jeevan’s birthday (if he is indeed having a party).
* Build a shelf
* Spend time with family
* Spend time with gf
* Bottle beer / brew new batch of beer

That’s about it really.. simple, if I can do all that in 21 days, I’ll be pleased! 🙂
