The white male

So today I read a quote (yes, I can read, I would ask you all to pull your jaw from the ground… use a spatula, drool can make things stick).
“The middle class white male is repressed” and I thought (yes, I also have a thought process, keep doing that and you’ll have a bruise), that it is more or less a correct statement.
There is no such thing as Whitey-study from centrelink, there’s no maternity leave if we choose to stay home and the wife works after a baby, there’s no spaces saved for us in university, there’s no spaces saved for us in ‘diverse’ workplaces.
I appreciate that some sectors of society need a little help now and again, but jeez, they’ve been getting help for years now, perhaps it’s time to ween them off the government teat and put that money towards something truly useful, like driver training. *sigh*
