I found my hole in Singapore

Yesterday we got off early so I decided it was the perfect chance for me to go to Sentosa island. The website showed pictures of people having scorpions put on them in the Insect park, and I heard rumours that tarantulas were also provided.

I found the cable car building, and promptly boarded the cable car – in the wrong direction…. after finally getting on the opposite line I finally got to Sentosa. Sadly there were no opportunities for me to wear anything that could possibly bite me but I did see some huge beetles.

I then did the ludge, the skyride and walked the dragon trail. However when in the glass cable car I noted some old ruins I wanted to visit (not on the map tho 🙁 ).

After Sentosa I was off to eat crayfish and ended up in probably the best jazz bar I’ve ever been in. If in Singapore I highly recommend the Southbridge on a Sunday (jam session night). If I was living here, I’d be there a few nights a week. 🙂

those ruins are from british colonial times . Sentosa was used as a millitary strategic base. Check out the big house in the middle!
