Another excursion

So yesterday we had a few things on the list:

– Visit the Raffles Hotel and have a Singapore Sling (apparently this is really famous – unsure why – maybe it was in a movie or something)
– Go to Sim-Lim
– Go to little India, buy some Bhangra CDs – have Indian for dinner

So we took the MRT to Raffles Rd, which appears to be (once we disembarked) the wrong stop, thankfully Raffles was only a 20 minute walk away.

Long story short, the drink was overpriced, we got to Sim-Lim too late and went to Little India, had a feast and got back to the rig to sleep.
