The trip sucked

 

 So the flight was like, over 12 hours long (not couning the time difference, otherwise 13) and ultimately tireing. I didn’t sleep the night previous hoping that I would be knocked out on the plane. As luck would have it, I had no such luck and remained awake the majority of the trip. In Bangkok I had a 2 1/2 hr wait for my flight to Samui.There was also an scheduled stop in Phuket that I was unaware of. Phuket airport seems to be undergoing some renovations.

After finally arriving at my hotel at some time past 11pm I assessed my room facilities (which are quite nice, a bungelow style accomodation that is neat, features a double king size bed and another single) and departed in search of the famed “Green Mango” district. Having caught a free taxi due to my hair I was somewhat dissapointed to find the Green Mango not in full swing, not a dancing soul in site except for the go-go girls in their bars. I settled into drinking Vodka’s and Red Bull at “The Mint” which is sometimes home to some international DJs and which last night featured some short Mexican bloke playing some pretty good DnB. Later as the night took off revelers started dancing and I picked up a girl called “O”, which would be something I’d be repeating a lot later. Suffice to say that I managed to get the best head I’ve had ever, or at least in the last 4 years which is about as far back as my memory will be able to pull up specific instances of good head. I was woken up at 8am after a restless night and went for the free breakfast, which like always in these hotels included some pretty burnt pieces of bacon and a smogasboard of food which is somewhat edible.

Today, due to my somewhat (but not TOO blown) budget I’m off suit and art hunting, followed by an afternoon nap before the night begins anew…. Also trying to find cheapest prices for full moon party transport – last night was the black moon party (which may have lead to the absence of crowds at the clubs) but I certainly wasn’t up for that after my flight.
