Is there fish inside the iPod?

Last few days have gone past in a similar manner to the last few days before them, basically presenting me with a slightly different spin on the same old shit. The rig is still here, there’s still people on the rig and fish under it. The weather has been constant and an abundance of frogs didn’t land take a helicopter to the rig, just like they didn’t the previous week, or ever before.

We have a low forming ot the norther tip of Australia, it’s likely going to form into a tropical cyclone and so we are slowly but surley preparing to evacuate the installation. If this happens I hope to spend 2 or so days on the beach, swimming and chasing ladies.. ahh, we can but dream.. 🙂

Speaking of my iPod (which doesn’t have any fish in it – they haven’t realeased any good music in a while) it decided to start acting erratically yesterday. Playing short 10-15 second cuts of a song before moving onto another random song. Eventually it decided to get stuck with the backlight on, which ended in the batteries having run out when I awoke this morning…

Movie Review: The Devils Rejects

This movie was recommended to me by my sister Jo. To be honest I actually expected a horror movie, I was surprised to find it a cross between the amazing Natural Born Killers and the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The action is bloody and sadistic and the charachters are particulary fleshed out (so to speak).
Us the viewers are constantly on a swing, one minute supporting law and order and the next the devils rejects themselves. I found the charachter of the sheriff particulary interesting as his descent to the level of the rejects pits them against themselves.
