It’s all a CON I tell you!!!
Posted by tmz_99 on November 20th, 2005 filed in UncategorizedI have a challenge for each of you out there. Create a new folder on your desktop and call it ‘con’.
I’m not sure why, maybe Bill Gates really hated Con the dude who sells fruits and veggies (god damn, I know theres a WORD for that 🙁 ). Mayhaps it’s to make life harder for those of us who live in Africa and need somewhere to put all our millions. Who knows?
I’m feeling a lot better today and will make a point of returning to the gym. Although my throat is at almost %100 I am now having dry skin problems on my face (yes, I’m moisturising!) and a general dull feeling in my head. I think I must look like a junkie (gah!)
Tomorrow is Monday, which is a bit hard to deal with, I was hoping to get things a bit more ready by today in regards to the house bullshit, but that’s cool, tomorrow morning will suffice, will also find out if Mal can get that head gasket any cheaper.
Sky High:
Sky high is an awesome movie. It features something of a treat these days: Original, straight to film super heroes. When every super hero movie is based on a known charachter and although you want to see the struggle, you KNOW the factors involved, it is a breath of fresh air to see something this original. The movie is in some way standard Disney fare, the effects and general storyline are reminescent of the Spy Kids series but this one is a LITTLE bit more mature (not by much).
The acting is pretty spot on by the youngsters and it’s only the adults that look out of place in this fantasy world. I would certainly look forward to a sequel, however Sky High 2 doesn’t really ring much of a bell, how about Sky High University (haha, most universities are already much like that 😛 (as are most high schools 😐 )).
The story line is ideal, the development of charachters really makes you feel for them, hating some and likewise liking others with real emotion. The plot takes a few turns that you DON’T see coming 10 minutes before they happen and the ending, although predictable in Disney fashion (and comic fashion in general) is a treat to watch.
7.5/10
Dream Last Night:
It was another one in the travellers series, I was travelling to Egypt this time, with my family. After visiting a few pyramids and the like my family was exhausted from heat and I went to explore further. A giant catacomb was a tourist attraction, it was almost like an underground city, with catacombs and the like, actors dressed in peroid costume as centurions and legionaires walked the halls in patrols with an armoured woman in charge of them all. At some point I met a man who took it upon himself to show me around, for one reason or another although he didn’t LOOK it, I knew he was my accountant, Linsday.
At some point the catacomb sealed itself in and the soldiers who were previously acting suddenly became a real threat and the woman was obviously a magician; luckily I had gained the power of flight. I’m not sure how this ended up, I really wanted to finish the dream but it was time for work. 🙁

That’s a hell of a dream you had. May I suggest next time you refrain from eating sardines with chocolate syrup right before bed time?

Gates hates Con the fruiterer for his CONceited efforts at CONvincing people to CONtemplate rampant CONsumerism. It is this reason why you can not have a CON folder… oh no, I’ve said too much… I hear the helicopter landing in the yard…
