{"id":384,"date":"2008-01-28T12:52:09","date_gmt":"2008-01-28T04:52:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.centaurtechnologies.com\/blog\/?p=384"},"modified":"2008-01-28T12:52:09","modified_gmt":"2008-01-28T04:52:09","slug":"the-sea-is-pretty-f-in-awesome","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.centaurtechnologies.com\/blog\/?p=384","title":{"rendered":"The sea is pretty f-in awesome&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So finally I have comms back after what has been an extended tow.<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s been pretty rough going with the swells coming up to 4metres regularly.<br \/>\nI spent hours down on the 3rd level gangway, watching the water hit the decks and swirl around the rig, the effect was not unlike watching a hyrdo-electric dam, except it was perpetual, the power and ferocity of the sea was amazing &#8211; and realistically it&#8217;s smooth sailing at these levels by most vessels.<br \/>\nUnfortunately a rig is very un-waterdynamic, much like a floating brick.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.portsmouthgeologygraduates.org.uk\/bigwave.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Only 8 days till I get back home \ud83d\ude42 Can&#8217;t wait to get back to my family, gf and friends \ud83d\ude42 Going to be a great time home, still unsure about going off to Cebu in the Phillipines, just waiting on my travel agent to get back to me &#8211; will also do 3 days in Singapore on the way home. <\/p>\n<p>Looking forward on going on some rides as well \ud83d\ude42 I ordered a DynoJet PC3 for the bike today.. I&#8217;m happy to say that once that and the new sprocket is fitted that&#8217;ll be about all that can be done to the bike performance wise (without going stupid with a turbo or NOS, but I&#8217;ll save that for the next bike).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.extremediscountcycle.com\/store\/images\/t_659.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So finally I have comms back after what has been an extended tow.
