Anyway, the wipeout saga.
\nA few of you may remember the game “Wipeout”, the first in a series of Playstation (and PC) games based around racing spaceships around a track. (Well, seeing as you were never in space, I suppose they weren’t spaceships, rather very styalised craft based on jet propulsion).<\/p>\n

When I was living in NZ I had both the games Wipeout and Wipeout 2097 for the PS and BOTH the soundtracks which were awesome to listen to, however somewhere along the line I managed to get them stolen (the soundtracks).
\nWith the release of the Wipeout Pure (new PSP version) I thought it’d be nice to buy the whole set of Wipeout soundtracks for myself for Xmas\/Bday (I’m born so close to xmas I can combine my own gifts, doesn’t mean the rest of you can.. haha).
\nUnfortunately I can only find the original Wipeout soundtrack as an IMPORT on amazon for $40 US. This is just a little out of my range. After locating 2097 it seems my dreams are dashed.<\/p>\n
But was there only 3 sountracks? The games in the series were:
\nWipeout
\nWipeout XL\/2097
\nWip3out \/ Wipeout 3
\nWipeout Fusion (1st on the PS2)
\nWipeout Pure (PSP)<\/p>\n

Now the thing is, Wipeout 3 DID also have a sountrack, but this came out as a seperate CD only with a limited edition of the game. \nIn my quest to locate the original Wipeout soundtrack for a reasonable price (which I have not managed – so if anybody knows, please let me know) I did find out that the gametrack only shares 3 tuned in common with the soundtrack that was released. The rest of the tunes were by a consortium called “Cold Storage” and have been made avaiable to download from here.<\/a><\/p>\n![\"wipeout](\"http:\/\/www.discogs.com\/image\/R-12591-1107274415.jpg\")
