I woke up and found it&#8217;s lifeless husk lying on the desk next to me. Assuming that it was out of batteries, that I had let her play her sweet song throughout the night only to be extinguished by the coming of dawn I took her frail shell to my office and plugged her into the USB port.<br \/>\nNo sooner had I plugged her in when my heart dropped again, she did not flinch, nor sigh, nor flicker. It&#8217;s funny, she looked much the same in death as she had in life, but it was as if the mp3s had left her hard disk.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, this has given me a week long opportunity to enjoy the radio stations built into the itunes software, I have been listening to everything from jazz and blues to jewish and japanese music. I hope that I there won&#8217;t be any problems finding a replacement ipod when I get home, and I REALLY hope they &#8216;run out&#8217; of ipod mini replacements and decide to give me a new ipod nano.
